ZAVNIK Engine (“ZAVNIK”) is an AI-assisted, substantively human-reviewed researcher-discovery and advisory service offered by CytoEnigma Technology Inc. through cytoenigma.com/zavnik/. These Terms govern ZAVNIK purchases and submissions. Our Privacy Policy describes personal-information handling; our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains cancellation and remedies.
Before you pay, we will present the material terms, package scope, applicable limitations and total purchase price. You must have an opportunity to review and correct your submission and expressly accept the purchase terms. Any mandatory consumer protections apply despite language elsewhere in these Terms.
02What the service provides
You submit your research background, goals and search preferences so ZAVNIK can identify Canadian researchers and programmes that may offer meaningful scientific connections. ZAVNIK uses automated search and report-preparation tools plus substantive human scientific review. An individual report generally includes programme descriptions, potential scientific alignment, supporting evidence and suggested outreach directions.
ZAVNIK indexes researchers across selected Canadian biology, biomedical and related research programmes. Coverage includes broader biological and interdisciplinary fields and is not exhaustive. Coverage varies by institution and research area. The research-directory viewer lists represented source directories but does not certify complete institutional coverage.
ZAVNIK is not a job-placement, admissions or supervisor-recruitment service. We do not guarantee that a researcher is recruiting, has funding, will reply, or will offer employment, supervision, admission or collaboration. Unless separately agreed in writing, we do not contact researchers or submit applications for you. Institutions and researchers listed in reports do not thereby endorse ZAVNIK.
03The three-round Research Discovery Package
A single purchase includes three personalized research-discovery rounds: one initial report request and two optional follow-up requests, subject to supported research scope. Each accepted and fulfilled follow-up round uses one included round. ZAVNIK may require your package reference and verification of your purchase email before allowing additional requests; possession of a code alone may not establish ownership.
An optional follow-up can refine your prior research direction or explore another eligible direction, subject to intake criteria disclosed at submission. Material errors attributable to our report preparation should be reviewed and corrected where appropriate without automatically using another purchased round.
Follow-up rounds should be requested within 90 days of the initial purchase. Any legally required extension, refund, cancellation right or other consumer remedy prevails.
This package is a specific service entitlement, not a gift card, subscription or general-purpose payment instrument. This description does not waive any rights customers may have under laws governing prepaid services or consumer contracts.
04Information and files you submit
Provide truthful information and only materials you are entitled to share. Remove unnecessary sensitive details, government identifiers, financial credentials, medical information and confidential information about third parties. ZAVNIK presently accepts PDF or DOCX CVs up to 10 MiB, subject to actual technical validation. Text-selectable documents are recommended.
Before processing or payment, uploads may undergo file, security and usability checks. We may reject a dangerous, incompatible, corrupt or unusable document and request a replacement. A file rejection or failed security scan does not by itself consume a research round. If we cannot accept your document or fulfil the requested service, applicable refund and consumer remedies apply.
You authorize CytoEnigma and its necessary processors to use submitted materials for the limited purpose of providing and supporting your ZAVNIK service, consistent with the Privacy Policy.
05Prices, promotions and payment
The regular three-round package price is CAD $25 before applicable taxes, subject to changes for future purchases. Available promotional discounts and applicable taxes are shown before final payment. Discount availability and conditions are stated at checkout. This is a one-time purchase, not recurring billing.
Payments are processed by Stripe. The total shown at the final checkout step governs the proposed transaction. No included follow-up round requires a second payment. Future separate packages, if offered, require separate authorization.
06Acceptance, preparation and delivery
After payment is verified, submission checks have passed and the order is accepted, ZAVNIK prepares the report asynchronously and performs human review before delivery. Reports are normally supplied as PDFs by email; reports are not instantaneous.
Each accepted research request is normally delivered within 1–3 business days after successful submission, validation and applicable payment confirmation. Business days exclude weekends and Ontario statutory holidays. Customers will be informed of material delays.
This delivery estimate applies separately to each of the three research rounds. Check the email address provided and respond to reasonable clarification requests. Any applicable cancellation or non-delivery rights remain available.
07Reports, corrections and intellectual property
Research information, publications and institutional programmes can change. We use reasonable care and substantive scientific review, but suggestions contain judgment and uncertainty. A match score or position in a report is not the probability of admission, hiring or a successful response.
You retain rights in your own CV and submitted work. Subject to cited sources and third-party rights, CytoEnigma grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the report for your own lawful academic, research and professional planning, including preparing personal outreach. Do not falsely present a report as an institutional endorsement or proof of an opportunity.
For a material factual error, email support@cytoenigma.com with your order reference and a concise explanation. We will review and address corrections appropriately, without automatically charging another research round.
08Cancellations and refunds
See our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy. Personalized work may start soon after a paid and validated order is accepted, and a change of mind or unsuccessful outreach response does not necessarily create a refund entitlement. Mandatory cancellation, service-quality and non-delivery rights always prevail. We will assess the status of work, what was delivered and the law applicable to your purchase.
09Fair use and security
You may not misuse the service to harass researchers, impersonate other people, misrepresent qualifications, scrape or attack our systems, bypass package verification, upload malware or interfere with other users. We may suspend or reject abusive or unsafe requests and provide lawful remedies if a purchased service cannot be fulfilled.
10Privacy and third parties
See the Privacy Policy for how CVs, research briefs, payment records, file storage, automated analysis, human review and service correspondence are handled. Payment processors and third-party research sources may have their own terms and notices. We do not submit your CV to listed researchers as part of the standard service.
11No guaranteed outcome; applicable legal rights
We provide researcher-discovery guidance, not a promise of current availability, supervision, employment, admissions, funding or specific outcomes. Except where prohibited by applicable law, we are not responsible for a customer's or third party's independent decisions based on a report. No exclusion or limit in these Terms overrides non-waivable statutory protections, warranties or remedies.
12Changes, applicable law and contact
The version accepted when you purchase ordinarily applies to that purchase. We may amend terms for future purchases and will provide notices required by law. Where permitted, Ontario and Canadian law govern these Terms without depriving consumers elsewhere of non-waivable local rights.
